The Body Shop introduces new skin care diagnostic tool

Beauty products retailer The Body Shop has unveiled a new skincare diagnostic tool, Find your perfect skincare programme, whose aim is to help consumers find suitable products as per their skin care concerns.

The application available through its website has been developed to diagnose skin type and put together the perfect natural skincare regime for consumer needs, which allows the users to achieve a brighter, healthier, younger looking complexion, said the company.

According to the UK-based firm, market is flooded with many skincare products, which confuse the consumers,..and the new tool aims to pick the solutions most suited to skin type.

The firm said the new diagnostic tool in order to help the customers, poses a series of simple questions that allow it to determine their skin type. From the information gathered, the tool then picks up a suitable regime for that skin type, to combat any skin concerns, from blemishes to fine lines, dullness to dryness.

The firm said the new tool is included with five-step process, which takes only a few minutes to complete, and results in an entirely bespoke set of skincare solutions, including a cleanser, toner, day and night moisturisers and eye-care products.

The Body Shop said the new regime will take products from different skincare ranges that are designed to work symmetrically to target the customer’s unique skincare concerns.

Products could be from the Nutriganics range, which are created to help resist the first signs of ageing, or the Tea Tree range, designed to remove impurities for clearer looking skin, or possibly the Aloe range, which soothes and calms sensitive skin. The Vitamin E range is also on hand to nourish dry skin.

The firm claims that it would suggest the customers the products that are entirely natural and made in a way that respects the environment with absolutely no animal testing.
