Symrise launches multifunctional ingredient to formulate mild cosmetic products

Symrise, a supplier of fragrances, flavourings, cosmetic active ingredients, has launched a nature-identical, multifunctional ingredient -SymSave H.

The anti-oxidant, soothing, emulsion stabilising and preservative boosting properties of SymSave H render it suitable for all types of skin and hair care formulations.

It has been tough for cosmetic formulators to protect and stabilise formulations like high SPF sunscreens, non-ionic emulsions, shampoos and shower gels.

Symrise has designed the product to address these needs.

This multifunctional ingredient combines anti-oxidant, soothing, emulsion stabilising and preservative boosting properties.

It also helps improve the effectiveness of a range of preservatives and protects many formulations.

Using SymSave H, chemists can formulate milder cosmetic products that are well-protected at lower costs.

With stability at high and low pH levels and temperatures, SymSave H is a nature-identical ingredient with a FEMA/GRAS listing.
