Kimberly-Clark develops Poise wellness products for menopausal women

Personal care company Kimberly-Clark has developed a new line of Poise Feminine Wellness products designed for women experiencing menopause.

The American company said the new product line is an expansion of Poise brand into the feminine wellness category in the US and Canada, and follows the launch in parts of Latin America.

Poise Feminine Wellness line features five products that have been developed to work naturally with a woman’s body during menopause.

Roll-On Cooling Gel has been developed to offer comfort to women who experience hot flashes, while Body Cooling Towelettes offer refreshing and cooling sensation.

Personal Lubricant enhances the intimate moments and also helps women who experience vaginal dryness; while Feminine Wash provides daily freshness.

Panty Fresheners feature a fresh, clean scent that helps women reduce the odours experience and feel more confident.

Kimberly-Clark Poise brand director Rebecca Dunphey said the Poise Feminine Wellness line is specifically designed to help women approach menopause life stage with confidence, as well as offer protection from light bladder leakage.

The company said that launch of the new line will be supported by ‘The 2nd Talk’ integrated marketing programmme, to offer women with a new way to talk about menopause that will help also them approach the life stage with confidence.

The programme will feature a television, print and online advertising along with media and expert partnerships, public relations and in-store support; and its online destination for women at The2ndTalk.com will share menopause knowledge, support and solutions.
