BioRestorative Therapies develops extract for use in cosmetic products

Developer of medical procedures using cell and tissue protocols BioRestorative Therapies said it has developed a human cellular-derived extract.

This extract, per initial in vitro studies, when applied to skin cells, seems to lead to a considerable increase in collagen and fibronectin production, essential proteins for staving off the aging of skin).

In order to comprehend better the extract’s mechanism of action and human cellular activity, BRT is planning to conduct additional in vitro studies.

BRT, meanwhile, is exploring probable cosmetic uses of the extract with third parties.

For that purpose, the brtx-C Cosmetic Program has been established by BRT through which this extract can be made available to third party cosmetic companies, cosmetic laboratories, and cosmetic ingredient distributors for use in anti-aging beauty products.

BRT hopes to make possible the marketing of the ingredient for cosmetic uses after studies on its safety, sensitivity and irritation are completed.
