Argentinean male toiletries market to see exponential growth in next five years: Report

Argentina is set to experience an exponential growth rate in its male toiletries market in the course of time, finds a new survey by UK-based research firm Canadean Health & Beauty.

According to the report ‘The Male Toiletries Market in Argentina, to 2016’, the industry is forecasted to register a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.23% during 2011-16, marking nearly 757% increase over its growth rate of 0.96% during 2006-11.

The massive jump is likely to be driven by all the segments of the market, which are expected to record more or less the similar growth rate in the next five years.

The noteworthy sector among the segments has been men’s disposable razors & blades, which is set to grow at the rate of 8.15%, besides accounting for more than 50% of market value share by 2016.

Aftershaves & colognes is likely grow at close to 9%, while pre-shave cosmetics – men’s would grow at 8.28% and post-shave cosmetics – men’s would have a growth rate of 7.54%.

In volume-terms, the male toiletries market in Argentina is likely to show a marginal growth to 7.34% in the forecast period over 6.26% it registered during review period.

While pre-shave cosmetics – men’s, and aftershaves & colognes are expected to record CAGR of more than 8%, the men’s disposable razors & blades, and post-shave cosmetics – men’s are likely to grow at above 7%.
