Victoria Beckham to launch skincare line

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has announced plans to launch her own line of skincare products.

Beckham revealed the new business plan in a live video through a social media channel from her store in Dover Street, London, UK.

This move follows a successful collaboration with Estee Lauder in 2016 for a 14-piece limited-edition makeup collection called Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder.

The 2016 collection included cosmetics such as smoky eyeshadows and nude lip glosses, which immediately sold out.

To develop skincare products, Beckham is currently learning more about key ingredients and technologies. She was quoted by IANS as saying: “I’m developing my own skincare and fragrances now. I make what I want in my life. It’s a filling a gap.

“As a woman, I want to make the things that I need in my life, the things that are missing. I really want to learn. I want to educate myself and learn as much as I can.

“I am currently in the process of creating my own colour, my own line of skincare creams and a perfume. It’s going to be very scientific. I’m working with the best.”
