New unisex skincare brand CTRL Cosmetics launches

US-based designer Nina L. Steinberg and business partner Alan H. Steinberg have introduced their new unisex skincare brand CTRL cosmetics.

The brand has been created for use by consumers, regardless of gender, who are seeking for high-performance skincare products.

The founders said: “We’ve formulated all of our products using carefully sourced botanicals and naturally derived extracts that hydrate, smooth and nourish your skin with vital antioxidants. It’s about your skin – we take that seriously!”

The Steinberg’s joined forces with cosmetic scientists to translate their vision into a five-piece skincare collection.

The collection includes products, namely Lasting Hydration, Daily Refresh Cleansing Gel, Paradise Smooth Moisturising Gel, Rejuvenation Facial Polish and Replenish Beautifying Oil.

Lasting Hydration, priced at $135, is a serum made with hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin.

Daily Refresh Cleansing Gel features rosehip seed extract, geranium flower and seaweed extract that revitalises the skin. It is priced at $34.

The collection also includes $78 Paradise Smooth Moisturising Gel containing snow algae, cloudberry and caffeine that boosts the radiance of the skin.

Rejuvenation Facial Polish includes the hydrating properties of honey and polishing effect of amber. It is priced at $52.

A blend of amaranth, grapeseed, squalane, argan and coconut oils, Replenish Beautifying Oil is a daily moisturiser priced at $72.

Nina Steinberg said: “Over the years I’ve tried so many well-known brands and have yet to achieve the results I’ve been looking for. So, with that idea in mind, I decided that I would do research into what would be most beneficial for my skin, as well as for others, including men!”

The products are available on the company website. Also, the company plans to launch the collection at the Independent Beauty Expo in New York on 21-22 August 2019.
