Tineco forays into beauty category by launching smart hairdryer

Tineco, a company which focuses on the development of smart home appliances, has forayed into the beauty category with the launch of a hairdryer.

The new smart hairdryer, called MODA ONE, is equipped with advanced iLoop Smart Sensor Technology.

The technology measures hair moisture levels and optimises the heat and airflow in real-time to prevent hair damage.

Additionally, the product is designed with anion concentration technology that releases ions for extra shine and protection of the hair.

Tineco North America general manager Todd Manegold said: “We are very excited about the MODA ONE launch.

“We see this as an important step in the evolution of Tineco and our ongoing commitment to make household appliances smarter.

“This new, smart hair dryer leverages Tineco’s innovative sensor technology and allows the hairdryer to adapt to each person’s hair and styling needs.  Our goal is to make the hair drying process easier and faster, helping keep everyone’s hair healthier.”

According to the company, MODA ONE supports up to 105,000 rotations per minute, around three times that of an average hairdryer.

Its Airflow Concentration technology enables fast drying and precise styling, while the intelligent noise optimisation allows ultra-quiet operation.

Furthermore, the hairdryer comes with a coloured iLoop LED light ring to provide real-time drying feedback to the user.

The user can also connect MODA ONE with their smartphone to select manual and additional pre-programmed drying modes.
