SOHM relaunches its skincare product in US

SOHM has relaunched facial foam cleanser and clarifier FōHM by SOHM in the US.

SOHM is a generic pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company. Its skincare product is made of proprietary salicylic acid formulation Salic2.

The product was first launched in the US market in 2013 but was taken off sale. On its re-launch, it will now be manufactured by SOHM’s Strategic Alliance company in Southern California.

FōHM by SOHM will be marketed directly to the customer as an over-the-counter (OTC) product through online retail market channels such as Amazon and the company’s online store. SOHM is also planning to distribute the product through other online and brick and mortar retail chain stores.

Originally, the clinical product was only available from dermatologists and doctors within the South Asian markets.

Headquartered in North America, SOHM focuses on healthcare segments such as nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, and other therapeutic segments.

The firm has its distribution channels in the markets of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the US.
