Revlon presents new Marvelous Super Lustrous lipstick collection

American multinational cosmetics company Revlon has introduced a new lipstick collection inspired by the Amazon original series, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.

Dubbed The Marvelous Super Lustrous Collection, the limited-edition line-up is available in two curated lipstick sets.

Take The Stage Reds is the first set that features three tones, Fire & Ice, Certainly Red, and Cherries in the Snow.

The second Stand-Up Nudes set also comprises of three shades Pink Truffle, Blushing Mauve and Rum Raisin.

According to the company, the new collection captures the comic show character Midge Maisel’s courage and confidence, as well as represents Revlon Live Boldly campaign’s spirit.

In a statement, Revlon said: “Midge’s own bold choices are a hallmark of the show and reflect her trailblazing spirit as she finds her own path to independence in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

“Revlon’s iconic Fire & Ice campaign debuted around the same time, marking the first time women were encouraged to wear makeup for themselves as a mode of self-expression. It was an impactful cultural moment and complements Revlon’s presence in the show as one of Midge’s favourite beauty brands.”

The collection is available exclusively on Amazon.com from this month with each lipstick costing $19.9.

Founded in 1932, Revlon’s portfolio of brands is sold in more than 150 countries.

Last year, Revlon established a partnership to introduce award-winning pop icon Britney Spears’ new perfume.

Named Prerogative, the oriental woody amber scent features a gourmand twist, latex petals and red calla lily fragrances, as well as fruit-forward top notes and woody base notes.
