oVertone rolls out new hair mask under its hair-healthy product range

American cosmetic firm oVertone Haircare is set to launch a new hair mask under its hair-healthy product range.

Known as The Remedy for Fine Hair Colorless Hair Mask, the new product will be a second blend of the company’s original colourless hair mask ‘The Remedy’.

The new hair mask has been developed especially for fine strands. It provides the optimum hydration to hair strands without weighing it down.

oVertone Haircare said that its botanical-rich hair mask is colour-safe and curl-friendly. It features an uber-nourishing formula, which is both vegan and cruelty-free.

The mask can be used when the fine hair is feeling dull, dry, or just requires a little extra care, the company said.

It can be used standalone as well as by mixing with oVertone Coloring Conditioners to prepare a completely custom hair colour.

oVertone Haircare co-founder Maegan Scarlett said: “Last year, we released the original formula for The Remedy and received an immense amount of positive feedback on how shiny and silky-soft the mask made hair of all types look and feel. But we didn’t stop listening there.

“Our community was asking for a lighter option, something that would be just as effective on fine strands but without sacrificing volume. We heard them loud and clear.”

The Remedy for Fine Hair has been blended using aloe vera, argan oil, sunflower seed oil, and crambe abyssinica seed oil.

oVertone Haircare said that the daily use of the mask will help in achieving improved moisture retention, less breakage, and more good hair days.

The product should be applied gently to wet hair, wait 10-15 minutes, then rinse carefully with warm or hot water.

The Remedy for Fine Hair Colorless Hair Mask will hit the retail stores on 8 October and retail at $27 exclusively at overtone.co.
