Neymar Jr. collaborates with Diesel Fragrances to launch co-created fragrance

Diesel Fragrances has joined Brazilian football star Neymar Jr to launch a fragrance, called Neymar Jr. X Diesel Fragrances.

The football star has around 250 million followers on social media. He is ranked in the top ten of the world’s most famous celebrities.

He is claimed to be the first celebrity from the sports world to collaborate with a Diesel Fragrance.

Neymar Jr’s role was more than that of a usual spokesperson; he was involved in all aspects of the fragrance making – right from its initial creation to the story of the soon-to-be unveiled campaign, and bottle design, the juice, the recent announcement on social media.

Neymar Jr said: “I took part in the most important decisions. It had to be a daring fragrance, and it also had to be related to what I like. I wanted a fragrance telling my own story and what bravery means to me.”

This launch coincides with the football star’s completion of first decade as a professional athlete. It also marks the 10^th anniversary of Only The Brave, Diesel’s signature fragrance for men.

Neymar Jr., “You have to have bravery in life if you want to achieve great things, no matter what professional area you are in.”

The full campaign, starring Neymar Jr. will launch debut on 19  May.
