Unilever launches new Axe body washes and deodorants in US

Consumer goods company Unilever has launched new Axe Advanced collection including body washes and deodorants for men in the US.

Axe includes a portfolio of men's grooming products such as daily fragrance sprays, deodorants, anti-perspirants, shower gels, shampoos, and styling products. Featuring a 12-hour touch-release technology, the Adrenaline Cool Charge and Urban Charcoal Clean body washes are claimed to provide a shower-fresh feeling all day.

Unilever's senior scientist Donna Foster said: "Today's guy requires product innovations and advanced technology that keep up with his style.

"The Axe Advanced collection body washes are designed with millions of microscopic encaps that are deposited onto the skin so every time his body is touched throughout the day, it creates a burst of fragrance."

Adrenaline Cool Charge features chilly iced mint and refreshing ginger scents, while Urban Charcoal Clean includes charcoal fragrances with a hint of watermint.

The Advanced collection also includes new Axe Anti-Marks Protection antiperspirants.

Available in sticks and dry sprays, the deodrants include anti-yellow stains and anti-white marks technology, as well as provides protection against odour and wetness.

With operations in more than 190 countries, Unilever distributes various brands, including Axe, Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy, Dollar Shave Club, Dove, Pond's, Toni & Guy, TRESemmé, and Vaseline in the US.
