Tommy Bahama expands availability of Maritime fragrance for men

Lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama has expanded the availability of men's fragrance Maritime.

The fragrance was initially introduced at Tommy Bahama stores and tommybahama.com website. It is now available at retailers such as Belk, Bon-Ton, Dillard's, Lord & Taylor, and Von Maur in the US.

Maritime is said to be inspired by the pleasure of sailing. The fragrance imparts notes of ocean waves and consists of a blend of bergamot, lavender, pink pepper, and clary sage.

It also features a smooth finish, with notes of violet leaf, geranium, and ambergris, in addition to aromas of cedarwood, sandalwood, musk, and moss.

Creator of the fragrance, Firmenich's senior perfumer Frank Voelkl said: "There's an energy and a feeling of speed in a rolling wave and like the top notes of Maritime that hook you right in, you are mesmerised with what can happen next.

  "As the wave gains height and power, so does the heart of the fragrance, it slowly emerges and crests when it encounters the momentum of the dry down notes. These notes last the longest and drive through to the end, leaving you speechless."

The product is presented in a smooth bottle with clear blue-coloured tint, wood and rope cleat design.
