Social media influencer Chelsea King becomes Revlon’s nail expert

US-based cosmetics company Revlonhas appointed social media influencer Chelsea King as the brand’s nail expert.

King has more than 100,000 followers on social media.

This partnership will see King create content as well as promote the brand and the seasonal nail trends on social media, reported WWD.com.

King had previously worked with Revlon’s global brand ambassador Olivia Wilde.

Revlon global marketing vice president Tracy Rohrbaugh was quoted by WWD.com: "She can really help us reach new consumers.

"The media landscape is changing dramatically, and in order to approach the category from an authentic standpoint it feels much more relevant to be looking to someone who is both talented and passionate toward nails specifically."

Revlon’s brand ambassadors include Alejandra Espinoza and Halle Berry.

Rohrbaugh added: "She bring[s] a new fresh perspective to nail enamel and the unique individuality that you can use our products to express.

"She’s also delivering an audience that’s really interested in that type of content and that we absolutely want to tap into."
