Sephora opens Beauty TIP Workshop in Chicago

Sephora has opened a Beauty TIP Workshop store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

This latest outlet marks the global retailer’s 400th free-standing store in North America and it offers more than 13,000 products.

Sephora's Americas president and CEO Calvin McDonald said: “We’re thrilled to expand our reimagined Sephora Beauty TIP Workshop experience to Chicago’s Michigan Avenue, one of the premier shopping destinations in the country.

“Every detail works collectively to create a space for our clients to Beauty Together, offering an incomparable level of integrated physical and digital designed to teach and inspire our community of beauty enthusiasts, partnered with an unparalleled assortment of prestige-only beauty that engages them to play and discover what works best for them.”

The new outlet will be the first to offer a new Fragrance Studio experience. This allows users to explore a range of different scents through Sephora's Fragrance IQ, an interactive tool used for personalised scent reccommendations. It is enhanced with sensory technology InstaScent.

Developed in partnership with 5th Screen Digital, InstaScent enables clients to explore 18 scent families through a dry air delivery system.

Sephora also has Beauty TIP Workshop stores at Powell Street in San Francisco, Prudential Center in Boston, and Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto.
