Sephora launches web tool to help women find suitable hair products

Sephora has introduced a new website tool to assist women in finding products that are suitable for curly hair.

The online service has been launched as part of its latest initiative, ‘It’s a Curl Thing’, reported Madamenoire.com.

This initiative was launched In May and will go on until mid-June, reported Refinery29.com.

The online tool offers help to four different types of curly hair: wavy, curly, coily and tightly coiled.

Once the category is selected by user, the tool offers a list of personalised product suggestions that include hair masks and treatments, stylers, conditioners and detanglers as well as sulfate-free cleansers.

The website also features videos which will show how women need to apply products.

Sephora director of hair merchandising Jessica Phillips Perez told by Refinery 29: "Beauty is personal, and perhaps nothing is more personal than hair, and curly hair in particular.

"Every curl is unique, which usually means [the customer] needs to try and try again to find the right regimen and product cocktail that works.

"We wanted to help cut through the clutter by working with top brands to deliver the latest innovations to our clients."
