SatiMed launches operations in US

Phytocannabinoid-based product company SatiMed has launched its operations in the US.

With this launch, SatiMed is introducing a diverse topical cosmetic cream line containing naturally derived cannabinoids and other valuable phyto-compounds from EU certified organic hemp.

These cosmetic products will be marketed and sold under the Sativera brand name.

SatiMed claimed that its team of researchers developed a competence to retrieve and use the therapeutic values of natural herbal remedies derived from industrial hemp plants.

SatiMed president and chief science officer Dr. Jokubas Ziburkus said: "There is a fast growing demand for hemp-based products, ranging from dietary supplements to cosmetics, and a vast unexplored potential waiting to be unlocked by scientists, consumers, and product development companies.

"We are excited about the launch of our operations in the USA and the introduction of Sativera products in the marketplace."

Besides, the company along with its affiliate European partner, SatiMed UAB, has also announced the launch of an 18 month pre-clinical in-vitro and in-vivo study programme using its patent-pending topical formulations to prove their therapeutic properties and to advance the clinical trials.

Sativera products will be available at www.sativera.com and through several sales channels, regional distributors and e-commerce platforms.
