Regent Holding Company acquires Illume

Home décor wholesaler Regent Holding Company has acquired US-based home fragrance, lifestyle and beauty brand Illume for an undisclosed amount.

Illume provides its products to more than 7,000 stores across the country and through its online retail store. It also supplies goods to 44 countries, such as the UK, Japan, and the UAE.

The company’s retail customers include Anthropologie, West Elm and Target.

Involved in the design and wholesale of home décor items, Regent Holding Company mainly sells its products under two brands, Creative Co-Op in the US, and Bloomingville in Europe.

The company also has several distribution channels in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and provides products to more than 30,000 retail stores worldwide.

Regent currently has distribution centres on three different continents and sourcing infrastructure.

Following the acquisition, Illume’s current president and CEO Liz Barrere will retain her position.

Illume’s factory in Bloomington, Minnesota, US, will also continue to produce products for the merged entity.
