ProfilePro introduces new Cloud 10 Hair Care range

Provider of customised and personalised haircare products ProfilePro has launched Cloud 10 Hair Care at Cloud10Hair.com.

The website guides customers through a series of questions to identify specific haircare needs, matching individual profiles to recommended shampoos and conditioners from the inventory of 165 stability-certified formulas.

The site also provides options to select from five different scents, between light or luxurious lather, and from an assortment of label designs, which can each be personalised with customer names.

Cloud 10 Hair Care is a result of collaboration between Cloud 10 salons owner Jodi Dery and ProfilePro, a multichannel brand development company comprising several former QVC executives, including founder Joe Segel and former host and vice-president of public relations Ellen Langas.

ProfilePro's executive and QVC founder Joe Segel said: "Customisation is a key trend in today's retail landscape and Cloud 10 Hair Care believes that shampoo and conditioner should be no exception."

Cloud 10 Hair Care conducted a survey of 1,000 women aged between 18 and 35. The results from the survey showed that 77% of women prefer to buy customised shampoos and conditioners for their haircare needs, while 10% were not aware of the possibility to purchase customised formulas.

Cloud 10 Hair Care's formulas are produced by Originitalia Labs in Italy. All of the company's shampoo and conditioner formulas are claimed to be sulfate, paraben, and cruelty free, as well as being safe for chemically treated hair.

The formulas were tested and further refined at Cloud 10 salons, previewed by more than 3,000 licensed hair stylists throughout Pennsylvania.

In addition to its online presence, the company is exploring retail opportunities with select partners that cater to the millennial market.
