Perfect365 launches new virtual communication platform for makeup

Makeup and beauty platform developer Perfect365 has launched a virtual platform to allow communication between makeup artists and clients. 

The new Perfect365 PRO enables communication in stores at beauty counters and online, where freelance and brand makeup artists can create virtual makeup looks, as well as send a look to and communicate with a client through in-app chat.

Perfect365 PRO further enables the artists to suggest new makeup to clients and demonstrate without physical application.

The platform allows customers to browse profiles of makeup artists available at the app’s Explorer community and request an appointment with the artist of their choice. 

Perfect365 marketing director Vickie Wei said: “For makeup artists, there is currently no solution that helps them create looks and organise client files all in one place.

“We are building on the success of Perfect365 by introducing a platform that both consumers and makeup artists can benefit from.

“Perfect365 users can experiment with makeup looks, find makeup artists in their area and get a clear idea of what the makeup artist's look will look like on their individual face prior to the makeup application, setting the right expectation.”

Using the platform makeup tool, makeup artists can manage and organise client profiles.

NYX Professional Makeup has partnered with Perfect365 to offers its products on the new platform and has featured a live augmented reality mirror at its store in New York.

Artists at NYX Professional will now be able to design looks for clients using virtual makeup matched to the firm’s products, while clients can try the look using the live augmented reality mirror.
