Perfect Corporation launches new celebrity makeup looks on YouCam app

Perfect Corporation has launched new Red Carpet Beauty series on the YouCam Makeup app, expanding its celebrity beauty offerings.

The series is a recreation of makeup looks from Hollywood celebrities such as Kerry Washington’s chiseled cheeks, Lily Collins’ petal pink eyes, and Chrissy Teigen’s burgundy lips. YouCam allows users worldwide to try on the collection of makeup looks with augmented reality (AR).

Perfect Corporation's chief executive officer Alice H. Chang said: “We are excited to leverage YouCam Makeup’s beauty AR technology to transform the Golden Globes into an interactive virtual beauty experience that allows users to become part of the Red Carpet event.

“Our team worked tirelessly to recreate these glamorous Golden Globe makeup looks within hours of the awards on Sunday night, in order to deliver the unique first-hand celebrity makeover experience.”

The virtual recreation of makeup looks allows users to experience them instantly through their mobile phones. The previous celebrity beauty looks from YouCam have seen more than 49 million try-ons throughout last year.

YouCam Makeup app is available for free download on the App Store and Google Play along with the firm's Beauty Circle app.
