Olen Cosmetics launches suncreen

US-based Olen Cosmetics has launched a new sunscreen, Sunblocz.

Sunblocz is a safe and natural alternative to chemical sunscreens. It comes in two formaulations, Sunblocz and Sunblocz Baby+Kids sunscreen. It is also safe to use in sensitive reef areas and marine parks.

Sunblocz has a sun protection factor (SPF) of more than 50, with an ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) broad spectrum. It also claims to be water resistant, hypoallergenic, and eczema-safe.

The new sunscreen contains no gluten, phthalates, or parabens and is cruelty-free certified by Leaping Bunny. In addition, it is clinically tested as per US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) over-the-counter (OTC) sunscreen monograph regulations.

Sunblocz is said to spread easily, smell good, and make the skin soft and smooth. It also contains ingredients that help repel bugs.

Olen Cosmetics' founder Majda Ficko said: "This amazing sunscreen product does everything except apply itself."

The brand is currently working towards global distribution of Sunblocz.
