Merz Aesthetics introduces new skincare line

Merz North America’s division Merz Aesthetics has introduced the new Mederma skincare line that is formulated with glycolic acid to exfoliate and hydrate skin.

The hypoallergenic line is free from scent, soap and paraben.

Merz Aesthetics marketing and OTC vice-president and US head Jim Hartman said: “The Mederma brand has been a staple in medicine cabinets for decades, and with the Mederma line, the brand is continuing to evolve to meet consumer needs.

“The full Mederma line is designed to bring the efficacy Mederma is known for into a daily skincare regimen. It not only provides immediate rejuvenation but it also supports cellular turnover by restoring proper moisture balance.”

Comprising five products that work on a preventative and regenerative level, Mederma provides deep exfoliating benefits of glycolic acid in a gentle, pH-balanced cleansing and moisturising system for the complete body.

The products included in the line are facial cleanser, facial toner, face cream, body cleanser, hand & body lotion.

Currently available for purchase online at Amazon, the new line will later be available this year on Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, and Target.
