M&As this week: Origami Owl, Coty, and Capvis Equity IV

Origami Owl has announced the acquisition of willa, a US-based beauty company offering skincare products for women.

Coty, has announced its merger with Procter & Gamble Company’s styling businesses.

Procter & Gamble is a consumer goods manufacturer based in the US. The merger will increase Coty’s revenue to $9bn.

Capvis Equity IV has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Gotha Cosmetics.

Gotha Cosmetics is a personal care products manufacturer based in Italy.

The acquisition was supported by WhiteHorse, a credit affiliate of investment firm H.I.G. Capital, by providing a €65m ($72.88m) unitranche facility.
