M&As this week: Dabur South Africa

Dabur South Africa has announced an acquisition of Atlanta Body & Health Products Proprietary for ZAR2m ($0.15m).

Dabur South Africa is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dabur India, which focuses on personal care, home care, and foods products manufacturing. Atlanta Body is a South African personal care products company.

Dabur South Africa has acquired personal care products company D and A Cosmetics Proprietary for ZAR48m ($3.65m).

The acquisition will enable Dabur to expand its business in South Africa.

Both the acquirer and the target company are based in South Africa.
