MAC Cosmetics unveils new lipstick-inspired fragrances

MAC Cosmetics has unveiled Shade Scents, a range of six fragrances inspired by its lip sticks Ruby Woo, Crème d’Nude, Velvet Teddy, My Heroine, Candy Yum-Yum, and Lady Danger.

While the Velvet Teddy lipstick is beige, its perfume has wild honey and creamy musk fragrances. My Heroine contains an incense smoked leather scent designed to complement the purple lipstick, while the Barbie pink lipstick complements the Candy Yum-Yum fragrance, which is a combination of cotton candy and tropical fruits reported Huffingtonpost.co.uk.

Crème d’Nude lipstick has a pale toffee shade, while the related perfume imparts a soft musky amber fragrance. Ruby Woo has a woody red leather scent similar to the lipstick's colour and orange-toned Lady Danger's scent is a blend of wild cherry, wood, and floral fragrances.

To celebrate the new launch, the company is temporarily offering its lipstick range in a deco-influenced package, reported Oyetimes.com.

The new collection will be available for purchase along with the limited period lipsticks at varying prices on the company's website from 30 November.
