Louis Vuitton to introduce new perfume range in September

French fashion house Louis Vuitton is set to roll-out a new range of seven fragrances for women under the name of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

The launch of the perfurmes comes after around 70-year hiatus, reported Refinery29.uk.

The perfumes will launch on 1 September in more than 450 stores.

These fragrances will have flowers as the core scent. The scents would range from leather to flower and oud.

French actress Léa Seydoux is the face of the new range.

Each fragrance will be priced at around $240.

The fashion house unsuccessfully made an attempt to launch a perfume in 1946.

As the sales of handbags fall, the French firm is making an attempt to tap the fragrance market.

The fashion brand has turned to third-generation perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud to create the range. Besides, it has  established its base in Grasse after it acquired Les Fountaines Parfumees in 2013.
