Lime Crime launches eyeshadow in US

California-based makeup brand Lime Crime has launched Superfoils, a wet/dry eyeshadow that transforms into liquid foil when spritzed with water.

The Superfoil range comes in 12 shades, from wearable neutrals to statement brights and is paired into six duos.

Lime Crime claimed that each pairing has been carefully curated.

The six duos include Electric/Barbarella, which is silvery mauve and pewter shade; Lawn/Flamingo, a lizard green and flamingo pink shade; Tutu/En Pointe, which is periwinkle purple and rose gold; Cosmic/Firefly, a galactic violet and green-gold-brown shade; Gilded Carriage/Glass Slipper, which comes in rich gold and silvery blue shade; and Malibu/Convertible, which is surfer blue with cadillac pink shade.

Users can sprinkle water to the eyeshadow and mix it and then directly apply it to the eyelid.

Lime Crime CEO Doe Deere said: "I developed Superfoils to inspire Lime Crime fans to create looks straight from a fantasy world.

This launch comes just after Lime Crime expanded its liquid-to-matte lipstick line, Velvetines, with the inclusion of 2 Moods duo, featuring two shades.
