Laboratoire PYC develops new anti-ageing nutritional supplement

French beauty-boosting nutritional supplement sticks developer Laboratoire PYC has developed a new anti-ageing nutritional supplement powder in stick form.

The peach-flavoured orodispersible powder is available in the form of a 3g stick, and has been specifically designed to prevent skin ageing, oxidative stress reduction, as well as hydration and skin sagging.

Designed for Europe and Asia, the stick dissolves in the mouth and provides a cocktail of four precisely portioned active ingredients, and is inspired by small beauty jellies sold in Asia.

The supplement developer, Caroline Focillon said: "The confectionary effect is guaranteed with this sweet and acid melt-in-the-mouth powder.

"Our intent was to combine a moment of pleasure with effectiveness."

The clinically proven supplement features in Vitamin C for its proven action in the formation of intrinsic collagen, which performs an essential function in the tissues that support the skin.

In addition, the anti-ageing formula includes lutein, for which randomised double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials have demonstrated photo-protective properties that combat oxidative stress and promote enhanced hydration and greater skin elasticity.

A single dose covers the daily intake recommended by the laboratory for optimal action.

The supplement represents the sixth nutricosmetic formula Laboratoire PYC has launched in stick form, after a collagen-based nutritional supplement, an anti-blemish formula, an anti-cellulite formula, a skin-hydration drink and a skin-lightening/tone-smoothing supplement.

Laboratoire PYC R&D Department claims: "Laboratoire PYC has several orally administered (nutritional) beauty active ingredients available, such as collagen, co-enzyme Q10 and hyaluronic acid.

"We tailor our product entirely to the customer’s specifications."

The new supplement is scheduled to be showcased at the Cosmoprof Asia trade show in Hong Kong from 12 to 14 November.
