Joey New York acquires RAR Beauty in US

Skin care and beauty products manufacturer Joey New York has acquired pharmaceutical preparation company RAR Beauty for an undisclosed sum.

This transaction has enabled Joey New York to gain complete control of the Joey New York brand along with its products.

Joey New York president Richard Roer said: "The Joey New York brand will now have expanded access to the capital needed to develop once again into a significant brand in the skin care, cosmetics and personal care industry; not only through organic growth but through strategic acquisitions of companies in which we can integrate into the Joey New York brand business model."

Joey New York CEO Joey Chancis said this acquisition marks a significant event in the renewed growth of the Joey New York brand by providing new opportunities for company to expand its current product assortment, as well as develop additional skin care and cosmetic products for multi-channel distribution.

"We strive to accommodate the consumer demand for high quality beauty products, affordable prices and fast acting formulas," Chancis added.

"These markets include prestige, masstige, mass, and health/wellness stores both domestically and internationally."

Joey New York was founded by Joey Chancis in the early 1990’s, and it unveiled the instant visible results spa at home concept and also innovated products for dermatological procedures.

Joey New York, through its wholly owned subsidiary RAR Beauty, is the producer and marketer of its Joey New York brand of quality skin care and beauty products.

Its products are sold through various retailers, professional salons and spas and beauty websites within the US and Internationally.
