Jean Coutu stocks Clinique’s product portfolio

Estee Lauder’s Clinique brand has launched a portfolio of skincare, makeup, and fragrance offerings at Canadian Jean Coutu stores in the Quebec and New Brunswick regions.

Products such as the three-step system Acne Solutions, the Smart franchise range for men, and anti-ageing formulations will be available alongside Clinique foundations, lipsticks, and other makeup products by the brand such as Chubby Sticks.

All of Estee Lauder's skincare and makeup products are said to be allergy tested and fragrance-free.

Clinique's Canada brand general manager Artur Klepacz said: "As the high end skincare brand in Canada, Clinique is pleased to partner with Jean Coutu, the most admired and respected retailer in Quebec.

“We are convinced that Clinique's beauty vision, based on simple routines that give astonishing results, is completely in line with Jean Coutu's customers throughout the province.

“We look forward to the future and this important association between two iconic brands.”

Jean Coutu's cosmetics senior manager Christian Comtois said: "We are pleased to offer Clinique products, previously available only in large centres, over a wider territory.

“The implementation will be staggered over three years. 54 stores will carry the brand by August 2017.”

The retailer operates 418 franchised stores in Québec, New Brunswick and Ontario under the PJC Jean Coutu, PJC Santé and PJC Santé Beauté banners.
