ITC introduces Engage On pocket perfumes range

India-based ITC has introduced new range of pocket perfumes Engage On for both men and women.

The pocket-sized perfumes are available in six fragrances and expand the company’s current line of deodorant brand Engage.

ITC's personal care products business chief executive officer (CEO) Sameer Satpathy was quoted by exchange4media as saying: “Engage On is an innovation in the category of perfumes.

"The pocket perfumes developed for the youth are designed around the core benefits of desirability, affordability, and convenience."

According to IndianTelevision, Engage On fragrances for men include Classic Woody, Cool Marine, and Citrus Fresh, while the perfume options for women are Cool Aqua, Fresh Floral, and Sweet Blossom.

The launch is accompanied by a commercial created by J Walter Thompson (JWT).

JWT's senior vice-president and national creative director Tista Sen said: “A pocket full of perfume is what the new Engage communication promises. The must have for every young couple getting to know each other a little closer.

"With this new product innovation, perfume needn't be just what sits on your dressing table but something you can carry with you."

ITC’s personal care products business expanded its product portfolio in May 2013 with the launch of Engage, which comprises a range of 16 deodorants with eight fragrances each for men and women. Engage for men has been designed in classical black with a tinge of effervescent colours, while for women it is offered in bright hues of pink, blue, yellow, and green on a can shape designed with feminine patterns.
