Hudson BLVD Group purchases nail brand Valley

Beauty services provider Hudson BLVD Group (HBG) has acquired nail art brand Valley.

Founded in 2015, HBG offers various beauty brands across the hair, skin, and makeup sectors. Brands such as DreamDry, Spruce & Bond, and Pucker are part of the firm’s portfolio.

This acquisition follows HBG’s recent announcement of opening its first flagship store next month.

Started in 2006 in Los Angeles, US, Valley operates out of its Nolita, Chelsea, and the Upper East Side locations in New York City and provides personalised nail art and nail care services.

HBG's president Robin Moraetes said: "Valley was the first of its kind, introducing nail art to consumers before it was a trend. It's where I went when I first moved to New York from LA.

“We see immediate opportunities to grow the Valley business by introducing the brand across our existing customer base and alongside the other brands in our portfolio."

HBG includes a total of 19 stores at 16 locations. The firm intends to launch new products and services in the near future.

Valley's founder Nina Werman said: "I'm so happy to have found a home for Valley within HBG, which I'm confident will enable the business to grow to the next level.

"I'm proud Valley has brought such meaning to our clients over the years, and I'm excited that within the HBG enterprise I have the opportunity to further develop the brand through new product and service offerings."

Following the acquisition, Werman will continue to be a part of Valley as its founder and brand director.
