Giorgio Armani Parfums unveils new fragrance

Giorgio Armani Parfums has unveiled its new fragrance, Si Le Parfum, in London.

The company has chosen Australian actress Cate Blanchett to represent the new fragrance, reported Wwd.com.

The new fragrance will be available to purchase from September this year and will feature amber essence.

Si Le Parfum includes hints of blackcurrant, bergamot, vanilla and patchouli.

Blanchett was quoted by Wwd.com as saying: "The latest incarnation is my favourite of all of them because it’s the quintessence of Si."

Earlier this year, the fragrance maker launched a virtual project called Si Women’s Circle.

This initiative focuses on celebrity women who had the courage to take up their aspirations and share their stories with women across the world through videos.

The women who have been part of this digital project include ballet dancer Charlotte Ranson, 3D pioneer Cecile Schmollgruber; and stand-up comedian Kee Yoon Kim, reported Beautypackaging.com.
