Estée Lauder chooses new spokesmodel for Modern Muse fragrance

Estée Lauder has selected the American Ballet Theatre’s principal ballerina Misty Copeland as the new global spokesmodel for its Modern Muse fragrance.

Misty will be part of the product campaign, which is planned to be run across digital, TV, in-store, and print platforms.

The campaign was produced by the brand’s creative team in alliance with Spring Studios and photographer Pamela Hanson.

Estée Lauder global brand president Stephane de La Faverie said: "When Estée Lauder launched the Modern Muse fragrance in 2013, we embraced the idea of women as muses, living life on their own terms, achieving great things, and inspiring everyone around them.

"Misty has challenged the status quo to achieve her dreams and inspired so many young women along the way. Misty will bring the fragrance concept to life through her unique story."

Featuring a floral, woody scent, the Modern Muse fragrance comprises hints of Jasmine sambac, Tuberose fleur, and fresh lily, along with vanilla, amber wood, and soft musk.

The fragrance also includes patchouli essences, honeysuckle nectar, dewy petals, and mandarin.
