essie launches new range of nail colours

US-based nail polish manufacturer essie has launched six new colours.

essie claimed that the new collection was inspired by the London mod era and the shades perfectly capture the spirit of the times and is also suitable for nail art.

essie's six new nail polish colours include a palette of multifaceted frosts, crèmes and metallics.

essie global colour director Rebecca Minkoff said: "essie's 2016 winter nail colors embody unforgettable nights out in the land of the mod, groovy tunes, shabby chic styles and soirees that only the hippest could attend."

The new collection is available at $9.00 per bottle on essie.com and at fine salons and beauty destinations.

The firm was founded in 1981. It has created more than 1,000 shades.
