eos releases new wax-free lip balm

Beauty and skincare brand eos has released new wax-free lip balm Crystal.

eos Crystal is a transparent product that features botanically-extracted nourishing oils that are said to provide long-lasting hydration. The balm also contains shea butter, coconut, avocado, sunflower, castor seeds, and aloe.

eos' marketing vice-president Nancy Chan said: "Crystal's wax-free formula, rich in pure nourishing oils, is the biggest lip care breakthrough since the launch of our original sphere.

“It provides consumers with an alternative sensorial experience that offers lip hydration without the heaviness of beeswax or mineral oils."

Packaged in a pearlised-finish and pyramidal shaped container, the new lip balm comes in light hibiscus peach and vanilla orchid flavours.

eos' research and development (R&D) executive vice-president Dr Mike Wong said: "We sought out the highest quality natural and organic oils and after years of development, the final product delivers superlative hydration without any heavy feeling on the lips."

eos Crystal will be available at select US retailers such as Walmart, Walgreens, Ulta Beauty, Target, Kohls, and CVS, as well as on evolutionofsmooth.com.
