Drew Barrymore in talks with retailers for global expansion of Flower cosmetics brand

Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is said to be in negotiations with retailers to sell her cosmetics brand ‘Flower’ internationally.

The actress plans to sell the brand in countries such as China, South America, Australia and the UK. Flower brand was launched in 2013 exclusively at Wal-Mart.

Barrymore also expects to launch her own e-commerce business later in 2016.

In 2015, the actress began selling an eyewear range exclusively with Wal-Mart.Barrymore is also considering to launch her own line of clothing.

The 40-year-old actress did not want to use her name for the brand.

She was quoted by ctvnews.ca as saying: "The name of the game is about how you financially succeed fast enough so somebody doesn’t dump you, and grow slowly and thoughtfully so that you are just not a flash in the pan."

The Flower brand invests majority of its money on formulations and packaging. The Flower Beauty line, which features fragrances, starts from $5 for lip gloss to around $14 for foundation.

According to Wal-Mart, the Flower eyewear is in all of its stores that have vision centers, nearly 3,000. The price range of the collection is from $39 to $88, ctvnews.ca reported.
