Dove launches DermaCare Scalp Series in the US

Unilever beauty brand Dove has launched new Dove DermaCare Scalp Series, a collection of daily dandruff solutions for hair.

The new collection features Pure Daily Care 2in1 Shampoo, Invigorating Mint 2in1 Shampoo, and Dryness & Itch Relief Shampoo and Conditioner.

The products are based on skin-focused technology, which is designed to remove dandruff and result in nourished, smooth, manageable, and moisturised hair.

New York dermatologist Dr Francesca Fusco said: "Historically women with dandruff have been using medicinal shampoos to combat dandruff and then use beauty conditioners to attempt to gain back the moisture and shine lost from their hair.

"With Dove DermaCare Scalp, you get both flake-fighting ingredients and nourishing, beautifying hair conditioning, in one easy-to-use daily solution."

The line is available for purchase in mass food and drug retailers across the US.
