Deals this week: Revlon, Shinhoo Co Ltd

Revlon has entered an asset acquisition deal for Coty Inc’s international Cutex businesses, which primarily operates in Australia and the UK.

The deal will help Revlon grow its brand portfolio worldwide and offer Cutex a global exposure.

Following the deal, Revlon will take responsibility to manage and operate the acquired brand.

Shinhoo Co Ltd has issued 2,742,475 shares in a private placement to raise KRW4.1bn ($3.44m) in funds. The shares are priced at KRW500 ($0.42) a share.

Shinhoo is a Korean company engaged in the production and distribution of cosmetics and living goods including shampoo, toothpaste and soap.

It also operates an internet bar franchise.
