Cyprotex consolidates operations in UK

Evotec's wholly owned subsidiary Cyprotex has relocated its UK operations from Macclesfield to Alderley Park to consolidate the business under a single facility.

The new facility is spread over an area of 2,300m² and accommodates office and laboratory. It will house 106 of Cyprotex's current UK staff.

Alderley Park managing director Dr Chris Doherty said: "Alderley Park is renowned for its world-class life science facilities and collaborative business environment, and it is therefore great news that this ambitious and innovative international business has chosen to locate its new UK site here.

“To facilitate growth of the UK business, Cyprotex has, over recent years, expanded into laboratories on the Alderley Park site.

“We are now delighted to welcome the rest of Cyprotex' UK team to the expanding Alderley Park community and look forward to supporting their plans to grow over the coming months and years."

Cyprotex was established in 1999 and has locations in the UK and the US.

It works with pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetics and personal care and chemical industries.

Cyprotex acquired CeeTox in 2014, which expanded the company’s scope into the personal care, cosmetics and chemical industries.
