Coty announces new global media agency

Publicis Media has been appointed by cosmetics firm Coty as its lead global media agency.

Subsidiary Zenith will be responsible for the assignment, which will include current Coty brands, as well as future acquisitions such as P&G Specialty Beauty Business’s brand portfolio.

The company will also work closely with Beamly, Coty’s internal digital social and programmatic agency.

Covering sixteen markets, Publicis Media will be responsible for strategy, trading, content, data, and analytics. Coty’s brands include Rimmel, Sally Hansen, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Davidoff.

Following the merger of P&G Specialty Beauty Business’s brand, the portfolio will also include COVERGIRL, Max Factor,  Hugo Boss, Gucci, Wella, and Clairol.

Coty’s CEO designate Camillo Pane said: “Zenith has been a trusted partner for Coty. Coty’s net revenues were $4.3bn for the fiscal year ended 30 June, 2016.  Set up in Paris in 1904, its products are sold in over 130 countries and territories.
