Clarisonic launches Mia 2 Summer Batik Beauty Bag Collection

Clarisonic has launched its Mia 2 Summer Batik Beauty Bag Collection in the US.

The beauty bag collection in turquoise or pink can be used as beach bag or carry on.

It comes with a Sensitive Skin Brush Head, as well as a Deep Pore Brush Head for a more invigorating cleanse.

The Mia 2 Summer Batik Beauty Bag Collection is priced at $149.

It is available at Clarisonic.com and retailers including Sephora and Ulta.

Clarisonic recently conducted a study which compared the removal of sunscreen, physical and chemical sunscreens, SPF 15 to 30, using their patented sonic cleansing technology against manual sunscreen removal using hands alone.

The company claimed that the study found its patented sonic cleansing removed six times more sunscreen than manual cleansing alone.

Clarisonic devices remove more make-up, sebum and dirt than hands alone, the firm added.

The devices can be used up to twice a day on every type of skin.

While attention is given to the protection of skin and the use of sunscreen, there is not much focus on the need for properly removing sunscreen to keep skin clear and clean.

Sunscreen helps protect skin from the damaging effects of UVA and UVB rays, but it is designed to stay on skin all day and therefore is difficult to remove.

Clarisonic co-founder Dr. Robb Akridge said: "Sunscreen is one of the most important things you can do to protect the skin, but removing all of the residue can sometimes be tricky. Cleansing with Clarisonic gives you an easier and more effective option."
