CBD Biotechnology unveils new hemp-infused skincare range

ChineseInvestors.com venture CBD Biotechnology has unveiled a new range of CBD Magic Hemp Series, comprising four non-industrial hemp-infused skincare products.

Expected to be available from the third quarter of this year, the range includes CBD_{BIO TECH} Toner, CBD_{BIO TECH} Rejuvenating Cream, CBD_{BIO TECH} Perfecting Shield Primer and CBD_{BIO TECH} Rejuvenating Spray.

CBD Biotechnology CEO Summer Yun said: "CBD Biotechnology will be one of the first companies in China to incorporate hemp-based CBD into skincare products, which we believe will spark public interest.”

The firm intends to launch its new CBD Magic Hemp Series through a variety of sales channels such as its official website Tmall, TaoBao, internet celebrities’ broadcasting platforms and mobile news applications.

CBD further plans to collaborate with Shangdong Yibao Biologics for a multi-level direct selling system.

Research is reported to indicate the potential use of cannabis’ medicinal ingredients such as cannabinoids have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in skincare products.

While cannabis is illegal in China, the addition of extract from cannabis sativa leaf to skincare formulations is considered legal.
