Beauty chain European Wax Center adopts Domo for timely business decisions

US-based lifestyle and beauty chain European Wax Center (EWC) has adopted the Domo Business Cloud to improve decision making through centralised data.

Founded in 2004 by Joshua and David coba, EWC operates more than 600 hair removal salons in the country.

The chain operates a franchise business model and has opted to implement Domo to replace an old spreadsheet reporting method, which was said to lack visibility and interaction between the corporate office and the individual centres.

Domo is intended to address these issues by offering real-time information on transactional, associate, and guest data related to operations, finance, human resources, and legal teams.

EWC's chief innovation officer Bart Butler said: "I look at Domo every morning to see how our digital channels are performing, a process that takes just ten seconds.

"This kind of mission-critical information can now be shared with the 8,000 associates across our network, increasing their autonomy and ability to make decisions that positively impact return on investment (ROI)."

Powering the complete internal system of EWC, the Domo Business Cloud pulls data from systems such as Salesforce, Azure, and the firm’s point-of-sale (POS) system. As it is customisable, Domo allows corporate employees and franchisee associates to easily track sales goals performance and compare it with other locations within the firm.

Butler further added: “Most people at the company are now asking the right business questions and using Domo to get the answers they need to improve our business results."
