Azelis to market Showa Denko’s cosmetic raw materials in Europe

Global speciality chemicals distributor Azelis Group is to market Japan-based Showa Denko’s cosmetic raw materials in Europe.

Under the exclusive agreement between the companies, Azelis will market SDK’s vitamin derivatives such as APM, TPNaTM, a slimming agent called Hi-Carnitine, and haircare products such as DL-Cysteine, SPIERATM in Europe.

Azelis started marketing activities for SDK’s products earlier this month.

The company currently has presence in 40 countries and provides several products and services to more than 27,000 customers.

With the new collaboration, SDK expects to increase the sale of its cosmetic raw materials in Europe through Azelis’s sales network, as well as increase expertise and know-how about development of formulas that meet European consumer demands.

SDK noted that under its current medium-term consolidated business plan, Project 2020+, the company intends to expand its individualised businesses by accelerating development of overseas market.

SDK also expects to develop its sales network for cosmetic raw materials by meeting the requirements of both local and international customers.
