American model Bella Hadid to be new face of Dior makeup line

American model Bella Hadid is to be the new ambassador of Dior’s makeup line.

She will be the first representative for the luxury French beauty brand with Palestinian roots.

Hadid on her Instagram page posted: "So beyond excited to announce that I am the new ambassador and face for Dior makeup. What a dream come true."

She will feature in a series of online videos, which will provide beauty tips to users.

The videos, called Dior Makeup Live With Bella Hadid, will be launched on 6 June. These will be filmed with Dior Makeup creative and image director Peter Philips.

Bella, who is the sister of supermodel Gigi Hadid, began modelling in 2013.

Bella Hadid joins the list of actresses including Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence and Marion Cottilard who are ambassadors of Dior beauty brand.
