Luxury brand RITUALS opens its first store in California, US

Luxury lifestyle brand RITUALS has opened a store at outdoor retail resort Westfield UTC in San Diego, California.

The new boutique is the company’s twelfth store in the US and its first in California.

RITUALS US president Marjolein Westerbeek said: “Our West Coast expansion is a very meaningful moment in our brand narrative.

“The community here on the West Coast adopted the wellness philosophy very early on, and we have loyalists here who have been eagerly asking us to bring the RITUALS’ slow down movement here, to California.”

RITUALS’ collections include The Ritual of Sakura, The Ritual of Happy Buddha, The Ritual of Ayurveda, The Ritual of Dao and The Ritual of Namaste, as well as the new limited-edition line The Ritual of Banyu.

Westfield UTC general manager Ryan Perry said: “We are excited to welcome RITUALS to our impressive line-up of first-to-market retailers.

“The brand is bringing mindful relaxation to La Jolla residents and aligns well with Westfield UTC’s resort-inspired transformation.”

With a total of 400 products, RITUALS owns nearly 600 stores, more than 1,500 shop-in-shops and four city spas worldwide.

RITUALS’ stores offer a range of products, including bodycare and skincare offerings, scented candles and fragrance sticks.
