Fragrance brand Skylar launches Skylar Body collection

Skylar, a the direct-to-consumer clean fragrance brand, has launched Skylar Body, a collection of body washes and lotions with moisturising properties of hyaluronic acid.

The latest launches adds to the existing collection of the brand that includes a collection of premium fragrances and candles.

Skylar founder and CEO Cat Chen said: “We had our sights set on creating a body care line since Skylar began. Body care products have also been the most requested products from our customers since we launched. Our signature scents translate perfectly into lotion and wash, so we set out to carefully and thoughtfully develop unique, effective and safe products that our customers would love.

“We are proud and thrilled to finally present a clean, non-toxic, hydrating body wash and lotion in signature Skylar scents to our customers. This is a monumental moment for us as a brand as we continue to stride towards raising the safety and efficacy standards in the fragrance industry with our products.”

The brand’s lot of pH balancing body washes uses hemp oil as a natural humectant to provide moisture to the skin, while coconut oil, rosehip oil, and shea butter offer a skin softer, smoother skin.

These two oils also offer the skin with antioxidants, beta-carotene, and essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid and omegas.

Claimed to be a 89% natural, the formula provide a creamy, foaming cleanser texture while providing a multi-purpose functionality for both washing and shaving.

Using an 84% natural formulation, the brand’s body lotion assortment, which is priced at $28 for each 250ml bottle, keeps the skin ultra-hydrated and softly scented.

About 96% of testers reported a noticeable difference in their skin hydration levels during Skylar’s extensive research and design phase.

The collection contains hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated. The innovative skincare ingredient is found in facial serums and face creams.

Skylar’s complete bath and body range is available in four of their flagship hero scents, Coral, Capri, Isle, and Meadow, and sold through Skylar.com.

It is also offering a monthly subscription bundle of Lotion and Wash for $40, and offering  customers over 20% off and a monthly refresh.

It will also launch hand cream in October 2019, and several additional body care products are in the pipeline for 2020 and beyond.
